Advice for this particular assignment: Define the concept of web personalisation,
especially how it relates to social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
Offer an account of how algorithms filter the content of these sites. From your reading,
discuss how such filtering helps and hinders advertisers and consumers.
Illustrate your points with examples drawn from your research.
Note also that this is an assignment for which the
inclusion of relevant pictorial illustrations is likely to be an advantage.
