Administrative arrangements
This is a thin module running over both semesters. Each semester you must attend the five one-hour lectures and
five one-hour workshops. There are no separate seminars but you are welcome to arrange an appointment to discuss
your assignments with Daniel or Rod as appropriate.
Timetable for Academic Session 2013/14
- Semester One: the dates are here
- fortnightly lectures: Mondays 2.10 - 3.00 pm in P5-1.61 [with Daniel]
- workshops: Mondays 3.10 - 4.00 pm in P5-1.61 [with Rod]
- Semester Two: the dates are here
- fortnightly lecture-workshops: Tuesdays 4.10 - 6.00 pm in G28 in the Cledwyn building [with Rod]
There is no terminal written
examination for this module. Instead you have two assignments. The first is
normally submitted about 6 weeks into the module and the second soon after the module ends.
Non-assessed assignments may be set between one session and the next and such
work must be completed.
Assignments should be handed in to the departmental secretariat
in the Parry-Williams building by
the specified time on the due date. They must
never be handed directly to tutors. Keep your own personal copy!
